1: When you DIY your site, you will spends countless hours creating, updating, handling SEO, fixing issues, and yelling at your computer. If you pay someone who knows what they are doing, you are saving so much of your time and saving yourself from the headache of handling it yourself. Plus it frees up so much time to do all of the other tasks required to run your business.
2: If you EVER want to pass your site off to someone else to manage it in the future from a different platform, it is a massive nightmare to transfer over the site from a DIY platform to an actual web design platform.
